This picture was taken with a Canon camera towards the end of February for the light painting assignment. I had the idea to have the subject hold a light in her hands and another group mate had the idea to pose her to look sort of heartbroken. None of the pictures really came out that well, seeing as the exposure wasn't long enough for much to even be seen, but I solved it using Photomax’s HDR function which brought all those individually lit photos together pretty well. While editing, I made a high saturation copy of the photo, and a black and white copy of the photo, layered the black and white version over the high saturation version, and used masking layers to make the only color in the photo be the highlights. To finish it, I used a drawing tablet and the brush tool to make the photo look more ghastly and fill in the empty space. The image reminded me of a song from my favorite band, so I threw a reference in the title. I don’t think there is much more I could have done with it so I’m pretty happy with how it came out.

I love the texture that is being made and how it shows felling characteristics. The colors that pop out and make her look look like the shes supposed to feel.
This photo is hype! I really like everything down to the pose, the way the light fades up like tendrils, and the colors. Good job

This is so cool! I hope you continue to make images like this. You seem to have a natural talent for these sorts of edits. The contrast of the colors against the monochrome model is really impressive. I would like to see how you turn this style into your own.
I like how the way you did the lighting as red and blue coming off it give me a vibe but i don't know how to explain it but overall i think it sick.
