Linley W- Sticky Drip

My picture is titled “Sticky Drip.” I took this picture with my Nikon camera in the studio at Hoover High School. I took this picture during the school day, but used multiple props to help me set the studio up. For the background, I used a black backdrop and used multiple clips to hold the spoons in place. I set my camera up on a tripod and held one spoon, with honey on it, over the second spoon and took pictures rapidly. This was the result. I edited this picture by increasing the saturation and vibrance. I brightened and darkened up some areas to add contrast to the picture. I also sharpened up the picture in order to make the spoons more in focus. I also cropped the picture to make it seem more symmetrical than it originally was. This picture could have been better if the spoons were more in focus or there was more honey coming out from the bottom of the second spoon. Overall, I am happy with the final product and really enjoyed this challenge.

Aiden S- Magnus

I call this Magnus. I took this photo from challenge one and I took it at night. I took this photo with my canon rebel t7. I brightened up the subject and made the background blurry to focus on magnus and made his reflection in his glasses really stand out. One thing I could have done was clean it up a bit in the mirrors and the light inside the car.

Allie S- Euphoria

The title of my selected image is Euphoria. I took it on Mar 23, 2022 in the studio at school. It was taken with a Canon Rebel T6. I edited it by bringing up the contrast and saturation. I also brought down the brilliance and played around with the selective color. I wish the framing of the photo was a little better but overall I like it.

Kaitlyn R- Album Cover

The title of the image is called Album Cover. This image was taken around the end of march in the living room. It was taken with my canon camera. I edited the image by changing it to black and white. After I did that I played around with the brightness of the contrast of the image. The next thing that I did was use a fog filter from Nik Collection that kind of made the grays look more lighter than the way it was before. Lastly, I copied the image and made it blurry and put the more focused image on top of that one  and made it smaller to draw more attention to it and add a white border to the edge of it. One way it could be better is if the main subject of the image was centered.

Abigail P - Summer Morning

This picture is called Summer Morning. I took it with my Canon Rebel T7 in my sister’s apartment a month ago in the afternoon. When editing it, I increased the saturation and adjusted the color balance to bring out the color in the plant leaves and in my model’s eyes and hair. I adjusted the brightness and levels to make the picture slightly brighter and did some skin touch ups. Overall, I really like this picture and I do not think there is anything that I would change.

Clay K- The Moon

The Picture is of the moon, I don’t know if it is full or not, but the image was taken on my Nikon D5000 and a 1000x lens. I added a Blue filter on It because the image was quite bright and I cropped farther into the moon.

Sydney R - Trains and Railways

The photo is called, “Trains and Railways”. It was taken downtown over the rainbow bridge during summer break. I took it with my Nikon D3500. To edit, I adjusted the Brightness and Contrast, then I put the photo through Analog Efex to get a vintage effect. I wish that I had changed up the composition to were the tower on the left is shown fully so that it’s not awkwardly cut off.

Madison R - Brooke

This photo was taken over Spring Break on Saint George Island with my Nikon D3400 camera. I edited this by editing the shadow and highlights and bringing the saturation up. I think if the image was more clear it would be better.

MaKena C - Fawn

The name of this photo is Fawn. I took it during spring break with my phone. There was a herd of deer in my backyard. I didn’t want to scare them off so I couldn’t get too close.  This resulted in the photos being blurry so that's why I had to make it look like a painting. I wish it hadn’t been blurry because I could have done a lot more with it.
