John Michael A - Cyclone (last post of the school year)

I took this photo on the train tracks in Pelham. I found this old abandoned crane train car on some side tracks. I climbed inside and took a photo looking out. I edited this photo in Photoshop CS5.1, sharpening the contrast and enhancing the vibrance. I also reduced the exposure and darkened the photo. I named the photo Cyclone because of the fan in the upper right corner with the word cyclone on it.

Hope W.-Composite 5

The title of the selected image is Composite 5. I took one for the architecture assignment and the others were taken for the high key and close up assignment. I layered the images together and softened the edges and I put a black and white filer on it and lowered the opacity. I really like this picture!

Isaac E- Tiny Flower

This picture is titled “Tiny Flower.” I took it on a small walking trail at my grandfathers retirement community. I took it with a 60mm macro lens with an f-stop of f/13 and a shutter speed of 1/160 of a second. The flower is a little smaller than a dime, which is why a macro lens was optimal. I really like how this turned out. I would not change anything.

Meredith V- Central Park

This is a picture I shot last summer in New York.. It is of Central Park. I like how it captures the beauty of New York but also includes the large buildings in the background that New York is known for. I edited this image by cropping it. I also increased the saturation and contrast.
