Meredith S- Field

This is another picture taken in the field near Stadium Trace. To edit it i adjusted the colors to bring out the purples in the background to make it a little more different, and adjusted the brightness and contrast. I like the end result! 

Morgan Ann C- Exploding Heart.

I took this picture for the choice project I edited it to look like the heart is exploding. I really like the red shadow on her hands. I used the ellipse tool to add the the shadows and used different shapes for the explosion.

Morgan Ann C- HDR 5

I took this for the HDR project. I really like the color and contrast in the picture, especially the the highlighting ring around  the lens. All I did was add contrast, lower the brightness, and add the dodge tool around the lens.

I merged a picture of a river and school. I used a gradient map, brightness/contrast layer, and also a blank layer to lighten the center of the image and darken the borders.

i took these pictures down town of meagan. they look kinda weird when they are separate, but i liked how it looks with them all together. The only editing i did was black and white and some cropping.

Ellie W- Hyatt Regency Atlanta

I took this photo for the black and white project in the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta this past weekend while I was there for a cheerleading competition. I played around with the shadows and highlights a lot. I like how it looks kind of foggy at the top on the ceiling.

I took this picture for my HDR project. I really like the contrast in this picture and the position she's in. I like the detail form all three pictures put together. I really like the outcome!

I took this picture through the bus window and I like how the house is blurred. I lightened the photo and burned certain areas to give it contrast.

Brittney L- Neighborhood Pan

 I took this picture the day it snowed. It is a panorama of part of my neighborhood. I edited the picture by adjusting the colors and the levels.

I really like the way this HDR turned out. I really like the contrast and the position she is in. I like how it really differs from the usual stuff I do and its interesting to see this.

Ellie W- HDR Flowers

I shot this during class for the HDR project, I really like the contrast between the background and the flowers. I edited it using photomatix and played with the shadows and highlights and color balance.

Courtney M- Corridor

I took this picture in Baton Rouge on LSU's campus. It was late in the day and I liked how the shadows were coming through the arches of the hallway. I edited it by making it black and white and adjusting some color levels.

Paige R- Meagan

i took this picture downtown last week with my nikond3000. I boosted the black levels and the contrast to make the details stand out more. I also added a little cyan tint to make it a little more exciting. I burned her eyes to make them stand out more.

Hayley H- Sea Foam Wave

I took this picture when I was in VA Beach back in November. I wanted to test out my new waterproof camera. This was the only one that cam out pretty good. I edited it by Adding a reverse gradient and reducing the opacity to 30%. I also adjusted the levels.

Rachel E- Cafe de Paris

I took this picture downtown a few weeks ago. It's already transformed into a HDR and I know I need to fix the sky. I started editing it using brightness and contrast layers and using levels but I'm not quite done yet. Suggestions would be awesome.

Johb S- Lens

I took this photo last week in the photography class room with a studio lights. Its an HDR photo. I adjusted the levels and the coloring in the photo. I really like this photo. I got the idea from a friend of mine Morgan Ann.

Hannah G- HDR House

I took this HDR in some random place by MaCalla. To edit it I layered the pictures on the HDR maker. I tweaked some of the exposures and stuff, overall it turned out pretty neat!

Ellie W - Pano at the End of 280

I shot this panorama up on top of this mountain all the way at the end of 280. I masked it and bumped the shadows and highlights way up on the sky and just boosted the contrast and saturation on the trees and ground to make the colors in the graffiti pop.

Meredith S- Make a Wish

This image is made up of two pictures that I took separately.  The hand holding the dandelion seeds was originally taken inside my car, but I didn't like the background so I put it in front of the picture of the field.  I like the way the sun hits the grass and makes a good combination of light and shadows. I edited the colors, curves, and brightness. 

Eccoe Jones - Snowy

 I took this photo on the day it snowed. I really like the way it came out and all i did was just brighten the photo because it was kinda dark

Graham S- Determination

I took this picture in Jacksonville, Florida at the Gator bowl over Christmas break. The wide receivers for Mississippi State were warming up and they decided to do a chant. I love this picture because of the fact that one player is in the middle and the rest formed a circle around him. To edit this picture. I boosted the contrast and added a lens flare.

This is a photo of my cat's paws. I took this picture when I was shooting for high key and low key. I made it black and white so you could really see the high key and the detail.

Meredith S- Winter Day

I took these pictures on the big snow day last week. I'm not really sure why I put these two pictures together, but I kind of like it because it's a little different. To edit it, I adjusted the exposure and curves on the sweater portion of the image. I took these with my Rebel xs.
