Cameron S- Pennywise

This is titled Pennywise from the the Movie IT. I got someone to throw some balloons in the air because they are a big part of the movie. I darkened everything behind her, the ground and the sky. I took almost all the saturation and vibrance out except for her and the balloons. Her socks were bright neon colors so I changed them to a more subtle clown-lied color. This is one of my favorites from the story illustration assignment.

Ryan F- Brake Lines

This image is titled “Brake Lines.” It was taken in Fairhope, Alabama over the summer. I took it with my Canon Eos Rebel T5i. I edited it by cropping it, mirroring it, and using color filters.

Dayne M- Rainbow Wood

My image “Rainbow Wood” was taken in the woods near my house a few weeks ago. I edited the image by using a new document and coloring over the entire sheet and then blending that with the original image. I took the image with my Nikon D5500 with my 18-55mm lens. In order to make the image better, I would probably have the pieces of wood that are not completely focused moved into focus. That way the wood looks more like a solid wall of wood than staggered pieces. All in all, I am happy with the way my image turned out.

Asil H- Flower

I titled this image as flower. I took this picture with my Nikon D3200. This picture was taken in my backyard few weeks ago. I edited this picture by cropping it and playing around with some filters.

Alli J - "Afternoon MayFly"

This is a photo of a MayFly I saw at my grandpas house a couple weekends ago on his window. I had no idea what it was at first but I thought it was a really interesting Insect. I edited this image by brightening up the colors and using the healing brush to knock out some small imperfections :)

Olivia H - Yellow

This is a photo of my friend I took when we did a photo shoot. I like how she pops out from the yellow and I like how she is not directing her attention to the camera. I would maybe have liked to make it not has bright or like make it more dramatic. I took this with my cannon camera over summer. To edit I sharpened and brightened the image. I tried to make her stand out more.

Alyssa R- Sunday Afternoons

The title of this image is “Sunday Afternoons” because this was taken on a Sunday afternoons and that is usually the days when I take pictures. It was taken at South Shades Crest Elementary School this last Sunday. It was taken with my Canon Rebel T6, and I edited by putting it through the Nik Collection and putting the Indian summer filter on it to change the green in the background to orange fall colors. I also cropped  a large blue pole out and covered a light pole in the background. The shadows on her face could be better, I was not sure hoe to make that better.

Nicole T- Water Under the Bridge

The title of my image is Water Under the Bridge. It was taken during the last week of summer when I went to Pensacola Beach and it was taken with a Sony Cybershot DSC-H300. I edited it by turning down the exposure a little, increasing the vibrance, cropping it, and making the water more blue. It could be better if there was less noise in some areas.

Lesly M - LUV

Call this image LUV because Lil Uzi Vert was playing. Taken somewhere during December in downtown with a Sony alpha ILCE-7. I edited the image by adding some darkness to the image. Lowered the contrast to give it that faded look. Blurred the background a little more. Added some noise then last thing was adding some saturation. Really wouldn’t chage anything.

DeVaun J-Pupper

This I s a picture of my best friends dog Chole. I took it at his house over the summer. I edited it by adding a red glow filter and sharpening it. It could be better if she was on a better background. She is the sweetest dog I’ve ever met but she’s also really feisty. She’s 14 so she’s really really old in dog years.

Madelyn F- Europe

I took this picture in Europe from the top of The Eye. I really liked the way the sun was shining through the clouds. I snapped it with my Nikon D7000 and a wide angle lens. I did brighten the picture up a little bit, the only thing I’d change about it is I wish it was a little warmer.

Nicole T - Hibiscus

The title of this image is Hibiscus. It was taken in late July at Aldridge Gardens right after rain. It was taken with a Sony Cybershot. I edited it by increasing the saturation and vibrance. I also sharpened the raindrops and blurred the background little more. It could be better if I was able to zoom out a little more so that the bottom petal wasn’t almost cut out of the picture.

Raven H ~ Lauren

This is a portrait of my best friend Lauren. I took this picture at moss rock one day while hiking with friends. I did not edit this image. I loved the natural, earthy tone of the picture. This is definitely one of my favorite portraits I’ve ever taken.

Madelyn W- Breakfast

I took this picture one morning at First Watch. To take this photo I used my iPhone 7. I edited this picture in VSCO, all I did was bump up the brightness.

Trey D- Chicago

The title of my image is “Chicago”. I took this photo over the summer in Chicago. I took this photo with my phone. I really didn’t do a lot of editing, only increased the brightness, contrast, and saturation.

Heath M- Birdie

The title of my picture is called “Birdie“. This was taken at the end of last year when we went on the zoo field trip and was taken with my Canon EOS 40D. I edited this picture by cropping, saturating, and taking out debris from the water around the bird. I believe that this picture could possibly be better by cropping the image so that the bird would be in the center instead of to the right side. But other than that I believe it was fine.

Dayne M- Wheat

This image was taken a few weeks ago at the Portofino Resort in Pensacola. It was taken with my Nikon D5500 and I edited it by boosting the saturation slightly and increasing the focus a bit. It could be better if it was more in focus, but other than that I’m happy with the way the image turned out.
