Shelby C- Larry Stuffing

I love this picture of my cat Larry. Larry had gotten into some easter egg fluff, that you put in the bottom of the basket. I edited this picture by bringing down the vibrance and fixing his scratch on his face.

Mariah M- Mark

This picture is a picture of sweet baby Mark. This was the second day in the hospital, It may have been that night. But he was laying in the bassinet and sleeping, so I took my chance of getting a few shots of him. To edit this, I turned it black and white, but I changed the different color levels to make it a more pleasant black and white.

Lakeshia B- Leaves Composite

This was a composite image that I did for the  leaves assignment. I was really happy with the color and how it blend. I played  with the Hue and contrast.

Jenna O - Ashes

Ashes was taken near Lakeshore in Birmingham. This house was burnt from the inside out and I was nervous being on the property but I was excited about how the picture turned out. I messed with the layers and lightened and darkened a lot of details. I messed with curves, saturation, and brightness. I still have a problem with the top of the window but it’s hard enough to fix it so I quit. lol.

Ashley V- Lock-It-Up

I name this picture Lock-It-Up. I took in a bad part of downtown Birmingham at this shack. I love the rustic looking pictures. I found this unique and i love the angle in which it was taken. I added vibrance and contrast to the brick and door. I had to add sharpness to the lock and chain because it was a tad bit blurry.

Abbey W- Cloud Hand

I took this photo for the hands and feet assignment. I edited this photo in several different ways. I added clouds, played with contrast and saturation, and duplicated the layer several times adding different blending changes. I made the finger nails look gross by filters and blending changes and adding mask painting with a grey instead of a black. I really like this image because its different and i love the darkness and colors in it.

Emily B- Striking

This is a composite that I made for my sister for christmas. I combined four different images: The red leaf is the background, a lake (the slanted horizontal lines), clovers, and christmas lights. I love how different the pictures are when they are apart, but when you bring them together and mess with the levels they become something beautiful.

Mary L- Solitary Leaf

This image is from the leave assignment for last semester. To edit this picture I adjusted the shadows and highlights. I also changed the image to black and white and restored the color for the leaf. I really like how this picture turned out the only thing that i would change making the whole leaf in focus.

Katie W.- Sloss Tree

I took this picture when I was at Sloss Farnese working on the architecture project. I found a tree next to one of the buildings, I thought it was visually interesting so I took a few picture. I did not have to do a lot of editing to this picture, I adjusted the brightness to make it a little darker and then I played with the levels, and I was done! I think this picture would be better if I had enhanced the color in the tree.

Samantha D- Seeing Double

I took the photo of the donkey at oak mountain petting zoo. I then copied the image and flipped the copy while adding a lens flare to the eyes.

Victoria D- New York Bikes

I took this picture in New York.  Everyone either walks or rides bikes in New york so I came across these two bikes tied up beside each other and decided to take a picture because i liked the colors and the cute basket on the front of one of the bikes.  I edited this picture by boosting the saturation so the colors can stand out.  I also painted in black on the ground to make the ground look more detailed and dirty looking.

Alex E- Architecture

I took this photo when I was visiting Atlanta back in December. I saw a lot of cool Architecture in the buildings and this one really caught my eye. I edited this photo with the basic, simple editing and adjusted the colors a bit. One of the things I would change is how I took it. I was in the car while taking this and wish I had been able to get closer to the building.

Emily W- Fallen Tree

I took this picture in Bluff Park Elementary School’s new garden. The garden had some fallen trees and this one in particular was covered in lichen. I adjusted the image’s curves, levels, brightness, and contrast

Will C- Lego City

This picture is titled Lego City. I took this picture atop the Empire State Building in New York City. I edited this by putting a lens blur on the city scape. I boosted the vibrance and changed the hue to get the blue colors and the warm tones. This is one of my favorite pictures I’ve ever made. I’m really happy with how it turned out because the buildings actually look like toys.

Yesenia S - Children's

This image was taken for the Children Assignment. I really liked how it turned out. I edited this photo by adjusting the levels and curves. I also sharpened the image a little so my model could stand out. Overall, I love this picture because of the sunset; I think it makes it more attractive.

Amelia S- Circles

I took these pictures for the circles assignment and made a poster out of all of them. I love how the poster turned out because I feel that all the images go together. I edited all of them simply, adjusting levels, cubes, and sharpness, so they would look good together.

Haley Y- Goose

Over the brake I went to Nashville, Tennessee as we were walking to the Parthenon we went to a park. The park has a pond and there were some people that were feeding them so i shaped some pictures. I edited by making an orange foot disappear into fur and brighting up the white.
