Dayne M- Snow Days

I took this image in Fillmore, NY over Christmas break with my Nikon D5500. I edited the image by slightly adjusting the brightness and the saturation. Other than that, I decided to leave it natural so it didn’t seem to be unrealistic. It could be better if I took the image from more behind the chair and closer to the ground to give a view of what someone sitting in the chair would have been viewing. Other than that, I am happy with how the image turned out.

Maddy F- Buffalo

I used two images to create this composite. One was of the buffalo and the other was of the landscape in the buffalo. I put a color around the outside to make it a little nicer to look at. I did a lot of masking and editing on photoshop to end up with the finished product.

Cameron S- Circle of Lights

This picture is titled “ Circle of Lights”. This is actually a glass ball with lights in it onto of a wooden block. I held it up in a dark room and took a pic of it. I edited it by making the background more black and changing the lights to purple. I think this could be better if I got the whole circle and not the wooden part and if the glass ball was more clear and less dirty.

Asil H- Leaves

I titled this image as Leaves. I took this picture at the end of 1st semester for one of my projects in my backyard!! I edited it by cropping the image, blurring the background more , and by adding more color to the leave. Maybe this picture could be better if I had the full leave in the picture!

Ryan F- UFOs

I took this picture a while ago at like 10-11 at night. I used really long exposure and turned it into a composite by adding the pattern on top. I also made some major changes to the color scheme. It could be better if there was more light circles.

Anna Grace L- Leaves

This image is called Leaves and was taken on the Preserve Green. It was taken with a Canon Rebel T5. I edited this picture by using two different images and combining them together to make it more realistic. The boy on the left is apart of the original image, but the boy on the right was taken from a different photograph. I liked the way his arms were in the air in the other picture, so I placed him on the other image and cloned leaves in random places. I also changed the color slightly. It could be better if I sent more time cloning them together better.

Alyssa R. -Deception Pass

The title of this image is “Deception Pass” which is the location this was taken at in the state of Washington. This area has this name because the tide is so strong that they take the sips that pass through there and shipwreck them on the island. It was taken with my Canon Rebel and I just placed a contrast filter on it to embrace the details and it made the water seem more blue. It could’ve been taken at a better angle to where everything on the image was evenly placed.

Alicia U- Eggs Shadow

This picture was taken for the Low key and High Key assignment inside my house.
It was taken with my Cannon camera I edit this picture by making it black and white. Playing around with it and it came out they way it is in the picture. It could be better if I zoom out a little more to see the full shadow on the eggs.

Tyler L- 70's

This photo is called the 70’s. I call it this because it is colorful and happy and reminds me of one of my favorite shows based in that time period. I took this photo during the hands and feet assignment in my front yard. I took this with my Nikon D3300. I edited this photo by rotating a photo of my hand 4 times then making erasing the background and adding what you see now. It could be better if the hands we more solid and not patchy on the edges.

Grant S.- Something Different

This photo is called “Something Different”. I took it when the snow hit Alabama. I took it from the porch of my house. I edited by adding a cooling filter to it. The picture could be better if I had taken it from a different angle.

Landon H- Lonely Leaf

The title of this photo is “Lonely Leaf”. This was taken out at Moss Rock the day before Halloween around 5ish. It was taken on my Canon EOS SL1. I edited the photo by applying the black and white filter then coloring in the leaf. Then I added some contrast and saturation to make the Leaf pop more. If I could change one thing about this photo is the composition and the clarity of the photo, due to it being kind of dark, I had to up the ISO and it added some grain to it.

Heath M- Tahoe

The title of this image is called “Tahoe”. This background picture was taken on Lake Tahoe last winter, the leaves were taken during the leaves assignment, and the model was taken a few weeks. They were all taken with my Canon EOS 40D. I edited this picture by using the composition, adjustments, stroke, and layering tools. I believe that it could be better if the models picture quality was higher than it was. Other than that, I couldn’t find anything else to fix.

Alli J - Volkswagen Jetta SE

This is a picture of my new 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SE. I didn’t do much editing to this photo. I only blurred out some imperfections and enhanced the photo as a whole. And I really loved the way the sun came through in the background :)

DeVaun J- Rain Plops

The name of this picture is Rain Plops. I took it in the Courtyard on November 10th. I took it with a Pentax-K100D. I sharpened the image but that was pretty much all I did. It could be better if the top half was in focus too.

Heath M- Sunset Sailing

The title of my image is called “Sunset Sailing”. This was taken a couple weeks ago during my church’s fall retreat at Panama City Beach in Florida. I had to take this with my iPhone 7 because I sadly did not have my camera on me at the time. I edited this picture by adding in the distant sailboat and its reflection, using the adjustment tools, cropping and straightening, and also used the dodge and burn tools to contrast some areas. I believe that this picture could be better by having actually taken it with a real camera and putting in a bit more work on the boat’s reflection.

Cameron S- Shining Through

This picture is titled “Shining Through” I took it on my Nikon D5300. I took this at moss rock a few weeks ago and I edited it by enhancing the contrast and saturation. It could be better if I fixed the depth of field.
