Anthony SM- 12:34

 This photo was taken last saturday around 12:34 pm we were at dave and busters for my best friend late birthday in the right is him and i'm in the left we were playing the sonic mario olympic and it was a tie and we lost to mario in the end so sad. :(   

Steven L - Junk Cars

 This picture is called junk cars. I took on May, 2022 in a junkyard. I took with my phone and I haven’t edited but I think I will increase the highlights or the brightness a little bit more, or maybe just make it more colorful. I think it could be better If I took it with my actual camera, but I think it still looks good. 

Nathan E- Pretty Sunset

I was driving kinda late and I saw this really pretty sunset so I took my phone out and I got this really pretty pic.

Caroline M- Engine 1

The title of this image is called engine 1. It was taken august 1st at Jefferson county’s national night out where the police and fire departments bring out their trucks, cars, dogs etc. I didn’t really have to edit this much just lower the brightness a little. I wish the fences weren’t there and it was a bit straighter. 

 

Maci J- Mushroom Patch

 The title of this image is Mushroom Patch. This was taken this past summer in my backyard with my Canon Camera. My dad told me to get my camera because he saw all of these little mushrooms growing in our pepper planter. I had to take them somewhat quickly because the sun eventually dried them out. I edited this photo by increasing a little bit of contrast and highlights. I think the quality of this image is pretty good but it also feels a little bit plain. The sides of the planter were somewhat limiting mobility wise but I think I would have liked an even lower angle.  

Nikolaus H-Yellow Flower

 I took this photo while I was roaming the woods with a friend during the summer. I took it with my pentax k100d I believe. To edit this photo, I increased the contrast to give the photo depth along with adjusting the amount of red in it. It could’ve been better if I had taken the image at a more dynamic stance and if I had used a tripod to minimize camera movement.

Emily K- Nope Rope

This picture is called Nope Rope because I really don’t like snakes, but I like the picture. It was taken at the zoo on our photography field trip from last year. It was taken with my Canon t7 and I cropped it and turned up the contrast. I think it could be better if I edited some of the colors to make them more vibrant. Even though I don’t like nope ropes, I still think we should appreciate them because they are a vital part of our environment!

 

Dori H- Garden Glow

 The title of this image is Garden Glow, it was one of the favorite photos I took during my friend’s senior photoshoot. The photoshoot was at Aldridge Gardens and it was taken approximately a week ago. I edited this by lightening the shadows casted on her face from the sun and tree’s shadow. After that I lowered the background’s shadows and lights to make her stand out more. It could have been better if the shadows on her face could’ve been lightened up more. This image was really fun to play around with and I can’t wait to work on more portraits this year. 

Chai C- Budapesti Summer

 The title of this image is Budabesti Summer. As referenced in the title, the photograph was taken in Budapest, Hungary in early June. The original image was taken on a simple 12.2 MP, f 1.7, 27mm camera on a cellphone and was edited on Pixlr Editor. I edited the color of the sky to appear more purple and I enhanced some of the contrast. I wasn't aware of the fact that I would be taking a photography class when I took this picture, so there are plenty of things I could've done differently with that in mind. I feel as though the image would have been more impressive if I had taken it on my digital camera rather than my cellphone.

Paris C- Late Drive

 I called this image Late Drive because late night drives are the best. It was taken on the freeway on a saturday. It was taken with my phone because it caught a glimpse in my eye. Darkened moreland made the lights and the sky more vibrant and colorful but darkened it to give it a certain effect. It could be sized differently and edited more. 

Nick H- Trip to Texas

This was taken on the interstate during a trip to Texas last school year. I took it with a Pentax digital camera. To edit it, I tinted it, added some more blur and added a vignette. It would be better if I didn’t take the photo.

 

Emma B- Afternoon Walks

 This photograph was taken at my old apartment complex on May 19, 2023. This photo was taken on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I edited it by increasing the contrast, saturation, highlights, brightness, vibrance, warmth, sharpness, and vignette. I decreased the exposure and shadows. It could be better if she was centered in the middle and maybe a different location without cars. 

Alex B-H - Florida

 I named this image Florida because that is where the image was taken. I took this photo on my Iphone 13 and was taken on June 18th 2023. I used the Camera Raw Filter to edit this image. I wish i could have been closer but I wasn’t able to get close and see everything as you see it now. 

Brandon B- Westview Storm

 This photo is titled “Westview Storm” as it was taken in Westview, Florida on a rip down to Destin on July 5th.  There was a heavy storm when the photo was taken with my iPhone 13 Pro through my mom’s passenger window.  Most of the editing was composite with storm clouds from other photos of mine, as well as offsetting the water tower with a faded overlay.  I also changed the hue to a purple hue as I thought it gave the vibe I wanted for the image. Finally I used a close up of rain to overlay onto the image for some added texture.  This could be better if I spent more time making sure all the overlays were cleanly aligned.
