Kameron M - Night Lights

The title of the image is Night Lights and I took it a couple weeks ago while I was downtown in Atlanta. I took the photo with my Canon Rebel T7. I edited it by adjusting the curves on the photo and lowering the amount of highlighting areas. I think the image could have been better had I taken a more clearer picture and spent more time editing it to sharpen the look of it.

A lot of the time when people take images of highways from above like this, they use longer exposure to get the streaks of headlights. Personally, I prefer the way that you've done it, with a short enough shutter speed to capture each car individually. The quality of the image and sharpening filters give the image a vintage style that really works well for the "captured instant" feel the image gives off. I really like the artifacts around the buildings from the sharpening process, it really looks great!

I really like this photo! I think that it is really cool that you can see all the cars without them being blurry. Also, this photo has a great color scheme. The lights on the cars and buildings are really cool as well. Overall, this is a great image. MB-HHS

Wow, I really love this picture! I really like how much of the urban environmental that you fit into one picture. I love the composition and how you can see the street below you and the tops of the buildings in the background. There is great scale in this image! If there were any critiques, which is simply based off of my own type of photography, I would have decreased my ISO, maintained the aperature, and slowed the shutter speed so you can get a cool motion blue with the cars. However, if you did not have a tripod, you wouldn't have been able to do that. This picture is fantastic and you should definitely be proud of it!

I love how you can almost see the image moving. The lights reflecting from the cars and the buildings looks really cool. I also like the angle of the shot. Overall great job!
