Alana W- Fine China

The title of this image is Fine China and it was taken on December 7, 2020 at my home. I took it with my Canon Rebel T6 and used a black curtain, a light and chairs to prop the bowls. I edited the image by making the background even darker so the curtain lines aren’t seen. I adjusted brightness and contrast on the bowls, levels, and exposure to get it the desired affect of the light coming in from one Side of the room. I feel like this image is pretty cool but it could have been better if I was able to get a more clear shot.

I really love this picture! I think the bold colors really stand out next to the contrast of the dark background and light colors on the inside of the tea cup. I also love the way you edited it- this picture gives off a dainty and delicate feel. It is seamless and really beautifuL!

This photo looks AMAZING. I love that you have made the background dark to make the subject stand out. The positioning of the lighting is so nice and doesn't look rushed at all. If anything at all to change the photo was to make the lines on the china more defined JWK

I really like how formal this image is and how it looks almost like an advertisement. I agree that a clearer shot would make it better but the framing and the combination of the two bowls really adds an interesting flare to the image. - Jack J HHS

This picture is really cool! I really like how you have the black background to really bring focus only to the bowls and nothing else. It really gives the picture a sharp focus bringing full attention to the bowls and their details. I also think that increasing the brightness and contrast in the picture really helped bring the colors out in the bowls and highlight the light source. You have a really good balance of light and dark in the picture and I think the black background helps with this. I like how the light is coming from one singular direction because it really helps balance the darker and lighter areas. Overall you did a good job and I really like the picture.

I am a really big fan of this photo. I think your use of household objects to make the photo look as if it were taken professionally in a studio. The placement of the China is also very well done, it shows off the beautiful design on the bowl while also showing the nicely sculpted inside. The lighting just illuminating half of the inside was also a great choice, overall amazing image.
