This picture was taken February 22 on my way to school. I took it with my iPhone XS. I edited by combining 12 different pictures and put them together for the Panorama assignment and I also added a NIK collection filter to it. Overall I think it came out really good and i'm satisfied with my work.

EDUARDO M- Panorama
This picture was taken February 22 on my way to school. I took it with my iPhone XS. I edited by combining 12 different pictures and put them together for the Panorama assignment and I also added a NIK collection filter to it. Overall I think it came out really good and i'm satisfied with my work.
Mitchell C - Shattered
This image is called Shattered, of course, after the broken glass. I took this picture with my 6D camera body and 27-70mm 2.8 lens near my dad's work. I like the scale, the lines, symmetry, and perspective and even the hues and contrast that I added in post-production. Because it is such a simple subject, I am not sure what I would change about it looking back, but I am very happy with how it turned out!
Jerusha K- Doors
This photo was taken in an alleyway on a Saturday afternoon in downtown Birmingham. I took this photo with my Canon T7i. There were so many doors that looked like they were in a 1950’s mob movie so I really vibed with that. This door had this yellow mustard and olive color and I really liked it so I took a horizontal photo so I can get the old age of the doors surroundings to make it have the aged look. I fixed up some weird impurities so you wouldn’t get that distracted and messed with the levels so it can get a pretty nice darker and contrasted look a little deeper and adjusted the doors brightness and contrast and burned a couple areas to give it more character. One thing I wish I could have done better was making the photo even more richer so it doesn’t look so washed out.

Jiya P- Beauty
The title of my image is Beauty. I took this image for the High and Low Key assignment. To edit this image, I pull the brightness up. I also made this picture a little sharper. I took this picture in my closet where I turned off lights and had a flash on from one hand and the camera on the other.
Clay K- Zoomed In On The Detail
My favorite image in the chair assignment was the one that zoomed in on the detail. I chose this one because it looked pretty nice and glorified the detail because it was quite crisp. I like this assignment because it was fun. I wish I didn’t get quarantined in the middle because it prevented me from better and a more variety of images.

Kameron M - Night Lights
The title of the image is Night Lights and I took it a couple weeks ago while I was downtown in Atlanta. I took the photo with my Canon Rebel T7. I edited it by adjusting the curves on the photo and lowering the amount of highlighting areas. I think the image could have been better had I taken a more clearer picture and spent more time editing it to sharpen the look of it.
Katie H - Peek
The title of my image is “Peek.” It was taken in my house a couple of weeks ago with some of my friends modeling for me. This one happens to be a picture of my friend Mena. It was taken with my Nikon camera. I edited it by doing some patch work and a lot of dodging. The eyes were brightened and lights were reflected on the face. Overall I thought it turned out very good but if I were to add anything, I would add more freckles or make the existing ones pop more.
Emaleigh S- An Old Journey
The title of my image is An Old Journey. I took this photo in Old Wetumpka, Alabama a couple of months ago. I took it with my grandmothers Nikon D7200 camera. I increased the sharpness along with the definition to bring out the old look of the object. I also brightened the image along with decreasing the shadows. Lastly, I lowered the saturation to make it look more dull. The only thing I would change about this photo is the angle which it was taken.
Sasha C - Wolf
The name of this image is “Wolf”. This was taken at the Birmingham Zoo, on the field trip last year. This image was taken with Nikon D3200, I edited by playing around with the saturation and also the contrast. I feel this picture would have been better if the background was different.
Alana W- Fine China
The title of this image is Fine China and it was taken on December 7, 2020 at my home. I took it with my Canon Rebel T6 and used a black curtain, a light and chairs to prop the bowls. I edited the image by making the background even darker so the curtain lines aren’t seen. I adjusted brightness and contrast on the bowls, levels, and exposure to get it the desired affect of the light coming in from one Side of the room. I feel like this image is pretty cool but it could have been better if I was able to get a more clear shot.

Ainsley M- Golden
This image was taken back a couple of months ago when we got out of school for snow and ice. I took it with my Nikon d3500 at a field near my friends house. To edit it I started by changing around the colors and adding a little more brightness to make it kind of airey. I also used the patch tool and the hue/saturation to fix the redness on her eyes and nose from the cold weather! I think this image could be better if I spent a little more time editing/adjusting it but I really like how it turned out!
Evelyn C - Inspect
The name of my image is Inspect and it was taken with my Canon Rebel T6. I took the main picture at the Santos coffee shop at Brocks Gap Parkway, the sunset from my apartment complex, and the necklace in the studio. I increase the contrast and saturation on the background image and I placed two copies of the sky on top. I then used a mask to uncover the Quetzal (bird) so that it popped out and added the necklace in the background to provide a bit more texture.
I intentionally left the two people and the post at the bottom to give it a feeling of sightseeing. Overall I am satisfied with the outcome and the main thing I would change would be how to better incorporate the necklace in the background.
Julien F - Jellyfish
I took this picture at Georgia Aquarium a few weeks ago. I used my iPhone to take this and did some basic editing on my phone as well. I mostly made it more saturated as well have a higher contrast. I really think of anything else I would do different to this image other than use my actual camera to try and get an better focused shot. I really like this image and it was one of my best from the trip.

Kameron M - 1983
The title of the image I selected is 1983 (after the jimi hendrix song). It is a composite of multiple pictures taken throughout hoover over the course of a year. I took the picture using my Canon Rebel T7. I edited it by changing the overlay on each photo and turning the colors up and down using the RGB filter. I honestly do not think it could have been better, I really like how this composite came out.

Hannah R- Aldridge Gardens
I took this photo at Aldridge Gardens with my Nikon D3500. I edited it by turning up the vibrance a lot because I really like the bright colors in it. I Used the burn and dodge tools to enhance the water. It could probably be better but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
