This is called reaching out because it looks like the hands are reaching towards each other. I edited this picture by first brightening up the picture, then by using the dodge and burn tools, and then I went into the Nik collection and used the filter, solarization.

I really like the contrast. This picture really caught my eye because most people would do the opposite and make the hands lighter than the background. Overall, great job.

I really like this picture! the contrast of the black and white and almost how blank this image makes it very interesting. The inverse makes it look modern but the hands give it an older seeming feeling. Great work. - Alex H HHS
hey Hillary B)! This picture is really cool! I love how you can see the textures in the hands and every little detail is visible. Especially when you open the entire photo, it looks amazing. The only thing I'd change is the darker areas of the fingers wash it out a bit, using the desaturation tool should fix it quick! But I still love this.
This is so cool! I really like how the background is taken out of this and made just plain white. That really brings out the texture and color of the hands. If I could change one thing, I would make the left thumb a little lighter. Overall, a really cool picture!
I love the contrast of the hands to the background. The shadows and highlights really make the hands pop. I like how it kinda looks like an Xray. This is a great picture!

This is such a freaking cool picture! I love the highlight of the photo by using a blinding white light! I don't know how you got this photo to where it is now, but the hands are so cool! I love the focus that the grain adds to it! A really neat job!
NICE HANDS!! This picture is very captivating, I like how detailed the hands look. Maybe if you would have darken the section inside the left hand, it would have made this nice picture nicer.
This is an amazing picture! I love the contrast that outlines the edge of the hands themselves. I also love the definition, I can see the lines from the finger prints, all the way down to the palm of the hand. This image is honestly beautiful and I believe that you choose a great title to illustrate this.
I really love this picture! The contrast is really nice and I love the way the hands are outlined by the light. The detail and definition in the hands is also amazing. Really good!
