Faye M- Judgmental

The title of this image is “Judgmental” because that was what I felt was happening when that bird looked at me. It was taken during the zoo trip in October. It was taken with my Canon Rebel t6. I edited it by pushing the contrast, dodging, burning and just generally sharpening the lines of the face and the beak. I would have liked more focus to be on the texture of the head because it looked almost like a pile of rocks, but I’m otherwise happy with it. I had a lot of fun editing this image.

Overall this is a really cool picture. I to feel the ~harsh judgment~ of this bird. But having that feeling really helps make this picture so cool. And the darkened background is super cool too. Great job.

I think this picture came out great! I love the photo in black and white which to me seems to bring more detail in the birds face. I like how soft and gentle his body seems compared to the greater amount of detail in its face. I love that you brought an emotion to the bird and the editing helps persuade that idea. Great job !

Hey Faye B), this is an epic picture! I really like how you gotten rid of the background and made it into a portrait. The one thing that is missing is more focusing on the beak, but other than that, the details are great. The contrast is beautiful and I really do love this picture.
