Aidan P- Abandoned Mall

This image was taken January 6 at the abandoned Montgomery Mall with my Canon Rebel T7. I used a customized Low Key filter from the Nik Collection and after that I went to the Camera Raw Filter to change some specific parts of the image. It was a little blurry and grainy in some parts of the image if you look at it big. I did enjoy taking the picture though and it was definitely fun to explore to the mall.

I really like this photo. I like the contrast of the shadows and the natural light coming from above. I especially like the reflections on the ground and in the windows it adds an eerie feel to the image. The only critique I have is I would have tired taking the photo from a different angle. I think it would have looked cool if the light at the end of the hallway wasn't there and the only natural light was coming from the ceiling. Or you could try using the burn tool over the light area to dull it down and bring some detail into that section. Overall great work, I would love to see more like it!

I really like this image when I look at it I see mystery. I like how you darkened up the brightness and contrast of the image. How the texture of the water is seen and how each pattern of the bricks are clear. Overall good job.

Such a cool image! I really like the depth of this image and how the darkened feel makes it look so eerie. You stated that the image is a little blurry and grainy, I'd suggest you using the noise reduction and sharpening feature in Camera Raw. It really helps in cases like these and it's the first thing I do to my images when they end up too dark and grainy. Overall the image is amazing and looks fine how it is, good job and keep up the great work!

This is a very cool picture! It gives a chilly, mysterious mood. The old mall combined with those dead colors, gives the picture a totally different mood, and it looks really, really cool. One thing I would do is probably just make a copy of it in black and white just to see how it’ll look like. It look really good though.

Awesome Photo! I love the different textures in the images and the way the pillars guide you into the photo. I think it could be improved upon if you decided to add more highlights since the image is rather dark, even if the darkness plays into the photo. besides that, I don't see how you could've made this photo even better.
