The picture is named “@the STOGIES” This picture was taken on the weekend of oct 8.2021. The picture was taken during dusk with a 3 sec shutter speed. I brightened the image and left it it alone because it really allowed the picture to show the excitement and movement of the night.

I like how there isn’t a main subject that is in focus, you can look around in the image and find things that are not blurred which makes the image look more interesting all together. I think overall the photo is balanced pretty well. I like how the main light is in the front, leaving the background area to be darker, it helps draw focus to the people in the front who are moving more. I think that the objects bring a more interesting balance to the image as well, because when looking at the image you can tell what objects are being used and what objects are not being used. In the end I really like the image because it balanced out in an interesting way with the things that are blurred vs the things that are not blurred.

I love this picture! The effect with the shutter speed added movement and emotion. The use of the one light gave the picture a certain ambience. And, lastly, string lights give the picture some color to balance out the warm temperature of the image.
