Bryson S - Imperfect

There isn’t much special about this image, it was an image I took for the panorama assignment that I particularly liked, so I decided to edit it for the photoblog. To edit, I shifted the hue, added a vignette, and created an edge-detection filter to sharpen some of the details and blur some of the unnecessary highlights. I like the image overall, the premise of a single piece of a larger panorama being edited as an image is interesting to me. If I could do anything differently it would be to have taken another picture.

Nice picture! I like how you kept your depth of field less constricted to just the chandelier, it works really well with the tilt of the chandelier. I like the purple-pinkish hue that you imposed as well as the green on the window behind. The only suggestion I have is to shift the vignette a little more centered to the chandelier and not the image as a whole because you have two arms that become obscured at the bottom. Besides that this is a keeper and one I would definitely have as a wallpaper.
