Mitchell C - Davis

This image is called Davis, named after my twin brother. This picture was actually taken in the photography studio at school with my 6D Canon camera body and 85mm f/1.8. I edited this image using Photoshop by converting it to a black and white and increasing the contrast and shadows to achieve the current mood of the image. I really like how it turned out, but if I could go back and make any alterations, it would probably be adjustments in posing. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the final result.

I really love the framing of this image and how dark and emotional the image feels. I think this is a great example of a portrait and how to do it well. - Jack J HHS

Wow, this photo is very cool! I really love the mood that it portrays. I think the posing is very interesting and shows a sense of distress which adds a lot to the image. Overall this is a fantastic image. HHS-MB

I really love the emotions that this picture brings out. The hand placements and the shadows are very eerie and make it so much better. Great choice. I love how you edited this picture great job. HHS JWK

I really like this photo. You can almost see a story from it and the lighting is great. The shadows produced from that lighting are also great. I'm entirely impressed with this image.

I love the lighting and shadows in this! Super cool, and I think the black and white filter was a really good choice. You can really see the emotion behind the image, which is really neat as well! Super good!
