The title of this image is “Abandoned”. I took it in downtown Birmingham where my dad works and for some reason, I really like this image. I like how bland it is; I like how it lacks contrast and vibrance; I like the empty space above the building; I like how abnormal it is in comparison to what is commonly considered a well-composed, nicely lit shot. I used a combination of Photoshop and Apple Photos when editing this image and took it using my 85mm 1.8 and Canon 6D Canon camera body. If I were to change anything about this image, it would probably possibly remove some of the distracting elements at the bottom of the frame. Like the stop sign or pavement; I think I would just make them slightly darker when editing it. Thank you for the comments!

I really like this image. The black and white make the building look really scary, for sure abandoned. I really like how the light just goes around the building and the top and the bottom are just slightly darker. I think you did a really good job on this picture.
I really like this picture! And I agree, there's something really cool about how simple it is. I also like the lack of contrast and the negative space above the building. Its just a really cool picture! Great jobb!
I really do like how it is just a simple picture yet it's so nice to look at. I do agree that removing the distracting elements would make the picture better. But I really dig this photo.
