Bryson S - Good Puppy
This image took a good deal of work to edit, as it was shot through cloudy glass at the zoo. I took the picture on my own trip to the zoo following the field trip last year. I love the contrast of the colors on the subject and background, and love how the shallow depth of field captures the edges of the fur nicely. It's one of my favorite images I've taken, so I'm happy to put it on the photoblog.

The work that was put into editing is very good actually because as you said it was shot through the glass. Very good! And its still very clear the fur is seen very nicely. Almost like you were right in front of him. Love the colors, the focus, and the editing. Just beautiful!!
Wow, this is great! I feel like we have all struggled to shoot through a glass window for the animal assignment haha. You did a very nice job; it is seamless! I love the colors and the soft, blurred background. It was very well done. The only thing that, of course, if the conditions were perfect, I would maybe change the composition. I would have tried to maybe move over a little closer to where the fox is facing, but with such a difficult condition like a zoo enclosure, and with such an unpredictable animal, this photo is amazing. The colors and hues and saturation is perfect. Very, very well done!
Amazing editing I love it! The focus is real clean and nice making it seem like you could almost feel the soft fur. The orange and tan color of the fur is a great contrast against the blurred background. Your framing is nice but I would crop it just a tad so that there is less of the body and more of its sleeping face. Besides that I really love this picture and it would definitely be a picture I would print out and hang.
