CLAY K- Painted Beach

The picture was taken last January at the Gulf. The picture was taken on a nikon D500. I changed the saturation and vibrance of the picture in order to make it have a warmer feeling, and then I applied a painted filter over it. The picture would  be better if I had spent more time on it.

This is a great view. I think if you higher the brightness of the picture it would look better. But overall it's all perfect.

I really like the effect this image has! It's difficult to get the exposure right on images of the sun, but I think you nailed it! I love the painterly effect you chose, it adds contrast to the water and sand that you couldn't get with straight photography. I especially like the solid line the horizon cuts across the image, and I feel the effect you've chosen lends to that effect perfectly. Overall, I really like this image. My only critique is the framing and positioning of elements, but this is a tough scene to frame so I'm not sure I could've done it better.

This image looks really cool! I love the way the sun reflects onto the water. I don't think I would really change anything.

This is a really nice image. I think the water could be a little more exposed. I also think you could crop some of the sky and sand out. but over all I think it is a good picture.

I really like the colors that are used in the sky. Kind of like a painting how you caught the clouds sweeping away the sunset. I personally love the how the painted filter helps the photo. Also the details are very sharp from the waves.Great job i love it.
