Cayla M- We Can't Breath

We can't breath is the name of this image. It was taken months ago in my room. It was originally a video which I screenshotted. Drew over it and made it into a statement for the BLM movement. Using the words from George Floyd and every shade of our color. To show that no matter what, we stand together. Fight together and die together. It could be a little better with the symmetry and the angles possibly. But I still believe it holds a very powerful statement.

This came out looking wonderful and it holds a very strong message. I think having the multiple skin tones does a great job of representing that we all stand together in these trying times. The overlay of the words. I think this came out perfect the way it looks.

This piece came out amazing! I really love the message behind it and I love how the lighting on the text merges together in a way it is easy to read the text. The color range choice was a very good idea, I love how you used different shades of melanin to contribute to the main message with everything going on today. I think this photograph is very successful, you can tell clearly what the message is and it is important that we use our artwork to discuss important messages like this!
