Emaleigh S- A Baby’s Grave

The title of my image is A Baby’s Grave. It was taken at an old graveyard in Bluff Park last week. I took this image with my phone while using another phone's flashlight for lighting. I edited it by adding a little saturation and definition to the grave and the leaves and I also straightened the image up as well. The photo would be better if the lighting was not so bright on the top of the grave. Other than that, this baby’s grave from the 1800’s made a pretty good image subject.

This picture is really cool! I really like your subject and the lighting of the picture and how the leaves look smartly placed. I would fix the lighting of the words on the headstone to be more legible but other than that solid!

I like this image a lot! You can tell when the lighting for an image is set up like this, it really shows in the quality. The image has a very nice contrast, the edges of the gravestone creating a very defined shape and focal point. I think the image might've benefitted with more selective editing of the background, the lights look almost like artifacts. Aside from that, the picture tells a really cool story, and the photography/editing was done very well!
