Madeline V.- A Simple Leaf

The title of this picture is “A Simple Leaf” because I just feel like that describes the picture. I took this picture last semester with my Nikon D3200 with the shutter speed at 1/60 and the aperture at f/4 and I took this picture in my room. I edited this picture by blurring the background a little bit then messing with the brightness and contrast, then adding a black and white layer and I did some different things with that. I’m not really sure what I could do to make this picture better, so thats it.

I really like how the leaf seems to be floating. I like the softness of the background.

This is a nice picture. I like how clear this picture is and how the colors are really simple. At first I thought the leaf was resting on a book or something so I think the picture might be a little better if there was more of the window in the background. Other than that this a great picture. The leaf looks really delicate and pretty.

I love this image. You can really tell what the subject is and I like how the desaturated the colors are. Also, the lighting is just right. And I really like the blurred book and window in the background. Great job!
