John Michael A -Clown

The photo I selected is titled Clown. I took this photo during the Earth, Metal, Water Assignment. I shot it with my Canon T3i at about noon last weekend at Sloss Furnace in downtown Birmingham. I was looking for metal objects to shoot and stumbled upon a clown costume propped up against a wall. I decided to take a couple shots of it and try to make a creepy Halloween photo. I combined the photo with another photo of a staircase that I shot on Morris Ave. I added a glowing edges filter on the clown and added HDR effects to the staircase. I darkened the photo as well. I am really happy with how this photo turned out. Happy Halloween.

I really like the exposure on this photo it has a darkness that brings out the creepiness of the clown. The colors of the photo are mixed really well especially since it is two different photos smashed together. The darkness of the staircase brings out the yellow and red on the clown. This photo feels really creepy because I absolutely hate clowns.

this photo is really cool because i ddi't know it was a composite until you told me. the lighting makes it flow together really nice. i like the amount of colors like its to too much but its also not too little.
