I took this photo last year and then used it for the Site Image Assignment this year. I cropped the original image and did a little bit of editing on it, clarifying it and enhancing the colors a bit. I then added the text. making it parallel to the edges of the lampshade. As for what I could have done differently, I think I could have done something more interesting with the text.

The patterns on the lamp are pleasing to the eye as well as the colors. The lamp is slightly off centered to the left and cut off by the top. It would be better if there were more space towards the top of the photo. This photo is alright.
