Irais B-C - Drops
I took this picture in that one old-looking neighborhood by Moss Rock Preserve. I took it about a few weeks ago while working. I took it on my iPhone 16 Pro, and I edited it by saturating the color and bringing it out a little. I also tried not to make it so blurry, but if one were to focus their eyes well, they’d be able to see it. Along with that, I darkened the background to give the drops on the glass more visibility. I think could've made it better by focusing better on the drops and having the background be the most blurry part of it, while still being able to distinguish what it is.

I really like this image. I especially like the warm colors in the background, I think it was a really good choice to saturate them more. The drops are very cool, but kind of get lost so I could agree on focusing on them more.
This is a cool looking photo. I like how on the top left is blue and the bottom right is orange. It gives a good combination. I also like how you make them blurry and focusing on the drops. Neat photo, keep taking more! R.N.
This is so pretty! I love the use of color theory in your picture! The blue and orange compliment each other very nicely. I also think you did a great job blurring the background and focusing on the raindrops. Awesome job! -VS HHS
I really like the vivid colors of this image. The raindrops were executed very well. I also love how you transformed the original picture, giving it such a dramatic effect.

This photograph captures a beautiful contrast between sharp raindrops on the window and the softly blurred background of a neighborhood house. The editing choices—especially the color saturation and darkened background—help emphasize the drops, creating a dreamy, almost cinematic mood. The warm glow of the house lights against the cool tones of the evening sky adds balance and depth, making the image visually engaging.
The artist’s reflection shows strong awareness of technical aspects, particularly the tension between blur and focus. While they note that the background might have been better left blurrier, the current composition still succeeds in highlighting the rain’s texture without losing the story of the setting. The commentary demonstrates thoughtful self-critique, showing both appreciation for the result and insight into how to refine it further.
Overall, Drops is a well-executed and reflective piece that balances mood, color, and detail effectively.
I like this image . I like the colors in the background, It should be a little more focused on the drops.
