The title of this image is The Sun because that’s exactly what this is a photograph of. The photo was taken on Labor Day weekend in Dadeville, Alabama. The sky was fairly cloudy, but the sun could be seen shining through a small hole in the clouds. The photo was taken with a Canon camera and a UV filter lens to block out some of the light. I edited the image to make the Sun a bit more pronounced, as the unedited image was a lot less clear. I also made the image a lot darker to really highlight the contrast between the Sun and the rest of the sky. This effect does add a lot of negative space to the image, which I don’t really like.

I love the color of the moon and the clouds around the image look great too. They have color as well and you can see them fade away with the light. I also think there is good details with the clouds. If there was one thing I would change it would be to brighten the image some but I get that sometimes that can mess up the image. Overall I think it looks nice.
