I named this photo “Love” because it is a picture of my boyfriend, whom I love, and in the sky, Venus, the “planet of love” is visible. This photo was taken in Spring of 2023 in downtown Birmingham. I took it with my iPhone and slightly edited the colors to be a bit more vibrant and warmer. I also made Venus more visible, as it is faint in the original photograph. There is a bit of negative space in the sky, and I debated on adding a grain/film overlay, but it crowded the photo.

I think this image is very colorful which really helps and the person sitting there gives it a good subject. I really like the layers of the colors as well and think you got a good time of day. Thinly thing I'd change is really just maybe move the camera up some to get a little bit more in the image.
I really like this picture! I like the combination of colors, and also the deep meaning behind it. I wouldn't change anything to this pic, but I would maybe play with the colors in the sky to see what other combinations of colors you can do, but that is just in my opinion. I love the background but I also love that it doesn’t focus on that too much and that there are other aspects of the pic that look great.
