Kaitlyn R- Bee House

The title of the image is Bee House. I took this around late january through early march at the Bluff Park garden area. I took this shot with a canon camera. I edited it by combining the pictures in photomatix Pro 6 and choosing a filter that enhanced/sharpened things up a little more than normal. Then I took it to photoshop and touched up some spots with the healing tool, and added a blueish filter to the image to make it more blue than it was before. I think it would be better if certain parts of the image were not as sharpened as other parts of the image, I think it would also be better if towards the bottom of the image I had the image a little brighter so you can see the whole bee house.

The first thin that jumped out at me is your composition. It's really unique and not something Ive seen before. Even though the tree takes up the whole screen, the viewer's attention is still on the bee house. Additionally, the photo has a cool HDR effect that is very cool! I would totally have this picture in my house.

This is a really good and the sky is really nice and really blue. The colors are really pretty and go together perfectly. The angle it was taken from is really good and the branches give the image a really nice effect.

I really like your picture! I love the contrast and how vibrant the blue is in the sky. I also really like how detailed the tree is because it draws the viewer's eyes to the tree itself. It sort of gives me a haunted, scary movie type of feel or vibe. I also like how the branches break up the sky a little bit. Overall, I really like this picture and could see it hanging in an office somewhere.

This is a really cool image! I love how there is a lot of dark an light contrast. I love how there isn't just a tree, but also a bird house. The way the sky gets darker the farther you look and I love how there are hints of white peaking through. I also like how the tree is light because that adds a nice contrast. Overall, I think you did a great job!
