The name of my picture is “Reach to the Skies.” I took this picture at the Hoover Winter Odyssey and it is of my friend Alex. To edit this picture I added a black & white filter and cropped out some of the background. I wish I took this from a different angle so I could see more of her face but I wasn’t able to move that much due to the crowd. Other than that I don’t think there is anything I would change.

I think the lighting works really well with this image, I think it helps bring everything togather and allows the image to balance out well when it comes to the things that are in the background of the image. I also like how this image is in black and white, I think it makes to image look really smooth and clean, it brings out the simplness of the image. Overall in the end I really like this image and I think the black and white really makes it look simple but very nice/smooth.

This photo is very interesting subject wise. The use of black an white helps create a dramatic effect within this image. The focus on the girl is done well, but it could be improved if the people in the back were less in focus and possible more blurred. Overall this is a very interesting image!
