This image is called “Dreamin” and it was taken on March 29th at Jackson Square in New Orleans, Louisiana with my Canon SL3. I edited the image by adjusting the vibrance, blurring and darkening the background, adding a black and white filter, then masking and revealing the clothing and sign. The image could be better if the background did not have so many people and distractions but NOLA on a sunny day during spring break is always going to be busy. This image ties to my sustained investigation into identity and how the homeless girl and the family contrast with the little girl bridging the gap between the two by admiring the homeless girl and her dog.

I really like this picture! I love how most of it is black and white except for the two people you really wanted the audience to focus on. I also love the message that this photo portrays! I would crop in a little closer on the people but beside that there is nothing I would change. Good job!

I like this picture a lot the black and white with some of the people colored in looks very nice and makes those people pop out the picture a lot more. The only thing I don't like is that how some of the people are not colored and some are I feel like every person in the picture should be colored
I really love this picture a lot! The black and white with the couple people colored in looks very nice and makes those people pop out of the picture. The only thing I don't like is the colors don't match, besides that I love it!
I love the message this image conveys. I like how you made everything but the main subjects black and white. I also think that it would be better without the other people and things around in the back but it doesn't really take anything away from the image in my opinion.

I like this image. the black and white really make the colored parts stick out and adds contrast. I have no really critique, good job
This picture is really cool! I like how the focus is in color and the rest of the picture is in black and white. It draws your eyes to the child and the person with the sign. I like that it is in a sharp focus because you are able to clearly observe the details of the image especially on the person with the sign and the child. I also appreciate how you only colored the clothes because your attention is drawn, and then you can observe the other details in black and white. The use of colors in this image is really cool as well. I like that they are vivid and contrasting because it draws the viewers attention even more. Overall, I really like this image especially the use of color and how it draws your attention. Great job!
