Mitchell C - Reflection

This image is named Reflection because I was trying to capture the harmful consequences of critical self reflection and how it leads to an altered and negative interpretation of our own selves. I put myself in the foreground and placed my twin behind me, making sure that his face was partially covered. I shot in the photography studio and used Photoshop as my editing software. I used my Canon camera body with a 85mm f/1.8. I like this image for its creativity, and considering that I couldn’t see myself while I was on the opposite side of the camera, I wouldn’t change much!

I think the use of lighting and composition and focus are all fantastic. I think using the black shirts to show the similarity in family but still standing out as separate twins. I think this was a great shot and my only critique would be to change the background cloth to a more complimenting color. - Jack J HHS

This picture is really good! I like how the focus is on your twin and how your face is burred. It is a very sharp focus and I think the sharpness adds to the picture in a good way. I also really like the colors in this picture. I like how the colors are very neutral (black, gray). The color choice actually helps bring the focus to your twin's face because it is a brighter color compared to the other colors in the picture. Overall, I think you did really well with this picture and I really like the photo. I really like your use of neutral colors and the sharp focus on the person in the back. Good job!

I really like this image the sharpness of the focus is the very precise on your brother and blur on yourself makes the image have depth and texture. I agree with you on the comment and I don't think there is a lot of editing need.
