Clay K- Missouri Woodpecker

The image is of a woodpecker, shockingly. The image was taken in Missouri while taking pictures of old buildings. The picture was taken on a nikon d5000 and a 75-200mm film lens. And the image was edited with the iris blur and sharpen tool.

This is an interesting photo. The colors in this photos are muted but still saturated, and it helps with the over all feel of the photo. The shadow and the highlights could be changed to make certain areas stand out more. Overall this is a cool image.

This is a good photo, I personally loved wildlife photos. One think that could make your image better is if the bird was either centered more or made to contrast the image more. The bird gets lost in the image because it blends in with the background. Everything else in your in your image are really nice.

Wow, I like the complexity the different layers in this image provides: the bird, the overlapping branches, and the soft blue hue of the sky in the background. My only critique would be that this image might be too complex. Considering that you had a zoom lens, I would have zoomed in and made the bird the primary focus without confusing the eyes of the looker. Otherwise, I really like the edits, the the compositional aspect in how the bird is using the rule of thirds. Nicely done!
