Mitchell C - Abby

The name of this portrait is Abby, after the model. I was a part of a group photoshoot, and this is one of my individual portrait shots. It was around 3 in the afternoon in a wooded area in the backyard of my friend's house. I was nervous to shoot in such harsh lighting, but I found a shaded area and I think that the image turned out very nicely. Actually, looking at it right now, I don’t have anything that I would change, but any criticism is appreciated!

I love this picture! The lighting is so nice and I love little rainbow glare thing on the left. I also really love the depth of field and how focused it is on the subject. It has nice warm tones and is a very fun picture. Overall it is a very lovely picture and I thoroughly enjoyed looking at it with the help of my optic nerves.

This image is really pretty and the lighting in it is really good and not too harsh. The colors are perfect for a photo like this and the sun is not too bright which makes the girl in the picture visible which is good. Overall, everything in this image is amazing and they did a good job.

This is a really pretty portrait. The lighting is interesting because of the dark top half and the bottom being very light. There could be a better balance between the light and dark areas. The sun effecting the photo is a cool touch, and the focus on the face is very nice. Overall cool photo.

Nice photo! I love the fact that you used a wide aperture to make your background blurry, and the fact that your model is on the right side of your image. Also that lens flare that looks like a rainbow. I wonder if that was done when you were taking your picture, or in photoshop? But the one thing I would say is that I wish you had cropped your photo down at the top just a little bit. The empty space above Abby's head is a little distracting, but that's all! Great photograph!!

I love this picture! The lighting is not too harsh and it is not over edited. I do think you could have cropped a few parts of the image so there was less empty space. I like how the main focus is on Abby while the trees in the background are blurred. It makes the picture look really nice. Overall, I love the way it looks.

I think this image has a very natural feel to it and my main critique is the lens flair that is next to the models head. Other than that I think this is a very good headshot and her being off center helps the image feel easy. - Jack J HHS
