Kaitlyn R-The Candle

The title of the Image is The Candle. There are two parts to the image, both the candle and the smoke were taken in the bathroom, around sometime in October. The pictures were taken with a canon camera. The first thing I did when editing was change the color of the candle to a brown look and then change the brightness and exposure of it. Then I had added the second image of the smoke over the image and changed the overlay so it would blend better within the candle and the background. Lastly, I used Nik Collection and added a film-like filter to the image which had added a border to it as well. I think it could have possibly been better if I had used a different dust/scratch effect of the image, also changing/editing the frame of the image where it is fully black/ removing the orange part from the side.

This image is so cool! I love the way you made the smoke seem like its coming from the candle. It does't look like it was a different picture. I also like the old warn photo type look it has. Awesome job!

This picture is really good and I love the lighting on it and the background as well. The white flame adds dimension to the image and it's cool. They did a good job with this photo.

I like this picture a lot the black and white filter on it makes it look really good. The candle look really nice and vibrant and I like the reflection on the candle has on it. The only thing I don't like is the background I feel like the background could have been different

I love this image. I like the how the smoke is almost the same brightness as the fire it makes the darkness stand out well. And I also love how there are some scratches or the little bits of light on the left side of the image. Great Job.

This picture is really cool! I like how the candle has a sort of soft focus, adding to the mysterious, gentle mood of the picture. I like how the picture is dark for the most part, but the candle light and the smoke add some light to the picture. I like how the light areas are not all super bright, there is also a more faded light created by the smoke. There is a good balance of light and dark in this picture. Overall I think you did a great job! I really like the sort of mysterious/ vintage vibe your picture has.

I really like this image and the black and white. the image doesn't seem to be missing any part to it that is found when pictures are changed to black and white. the grain also adds to the image and makes it look old and wary
