Carson R - Wild Eyes
This image is entitled “Wild Eyes”. I took this image at a photography class at the Birmingham Zoo on November 16 in the early afternoon. They brought out the great horned owl, whose name is Aubrey, and she modeled for us. It was a really cool experience. This was one of my favorite pictures I took because she is making a face similar to my cat when she gets mad. I edited this image by increasing the contrast of the image. I also copied the left eye over to the right because the original right eye was very shadowed. I used the dodge and burn tool to bring out some details in the feathers and I brightened the eyes a little bit. I really like this picture and I don’t think I’d do anything else to it.

This is a very good picture. I love the darkened background and the lightness of the owl's face. It also has very good quality. I feel like the owl is staring into my soul, so good job capturing that! The colors are good too, but it would be cool to see them in different tones. Overall, such a good job!
I love this picture! The colors and details are so good! I wouldn't change anything! Love it!- Emily R HHS

Great Job on this photo!! i love the vibrant colors of the feathers, they are also very detailed. I love the eyes the most in this photo, they really pull you in and mesmerize you. I would not change anything about this image. It is perfect the way it is.
I think this photo is really neat. The colors are very vibrant and the image is sharp. It's well centered and the contrast was well added. I also like the angle of the owl's head. I wouldn't change anything bout this picture.
I really love the depth of this photo how the colors really pop out it calls my attention because the details really show out and I mostly love the blacken background.
This is such a cool picture! I love the lighting used on it! the depth of field is perfect and I love the colors and shadows in the eye! The sharpness is also perfect. Nothing really I can say negative about it. Overall, an amazing photo!
I like this picture a lot. the focus is really good and the lighting is good too. The dark and light areas are good in this picture because I can feel how "angry" Aubrey is. I would definitely keep this picture.
