Carson R - Beauty from Darkness

This image is entitled “Beauty from Darkness”. It was taken in Animal Kingdom at Disney World a few days before school started. I took this picture with a Nikon d3400. I edited this image by bringing up the contrast and brightening certain aspects of him by using the dodge and burn tool. I brightened his eyes a lot. I also painted the background black with the brush tool. I think this image could be better if the tiger was not as dark.

This picture is amazing! You did a really good job at blacking out the entire background. I like how the black point is more dominant. The contrast looks really good. Although I do like how the picture is on the darker side, I think it would have looked better if it was a little lighter or maybe its just my screen. Overall, great job!

Really cool photo! I love the tiger being put on a black background. The print of the tiger really pops in this photo! I agree with you on the color of the tiger and how it is pretty dark. Maybe if you continue to edit this photo try using the sponge tool on photoshop and it may help bring the color out in the tiger. Still a really neat photo though!
