Mollie E- "Highway"

This image is entitled “Highway” and it was taken on the Alford Avenue exit in Bluff Park. I took this with my Nikon d3400 camera at around 8 at night with a tripod and a very slow shutter speed. I edited it in Photoshop by bumping up the contrast a little bit and changing the levels and curves. I also used the Analog Efex filter from the Nik Collection and I think it gave it a really nice effect. I wish I could have avoided the motion caused by the cars passing on the bridge, but I don’t think there was much I could to to stop that.

I have to say my favorite photos are long exposure! I think lights in long exposure are what make them the coolest for me. I like that since you used the overpass on Alford ave for I-65, the photo came out better due to the curve that the interstate has! It is cool to have the light starting in the same area and as it gets closer, the colors separate! Really good job on this photo!

I really love this image! The streaks of light contrasted by the darkness of the roads and surroundings really ties the picture together nicely. I love the bright yellow/white coloration on the left compared to that of the red light coloration on the right. Overall, this is a really impressive picture!

I really love the colors in this picture. I think the contrast of colors on either side of the interstate is really cool. The way the interstate curves in the distance also adds a lot to the image. Great job!
