Carson R - Love Birds
This image is titled “Love Birds” as the flamingos seem to be making a heart with their heads. It was taken over spring break at the Memphis Zoo with a Nikon d3400. I edited this first in photoshop, increasing the contrast and using the dodge and burn tool in some areas and adjusting the color balance, then I used Lightroom in order to increase the clarity a bit. This was a very lucky shot and I would not have gotten it except my dad pointed it out as I was walking away from the exhibit.

This picture looks awesome. I love the way you edited it, I like the colors of the bird's eyes and necks. I also like the shape that the two flamingos are making. I don't think this shot could have been any better, or also edited any better.

This picture is beautiful I love the color, maybe should have brightened it up a bit but all together it's a great picture and worthy of being on a wall maybe in a living room or hallway just something you can just look at and think about. Jahred T - HHS
This photo really is amazing. I love the colors that are spread across the image. the contrast is on point and the focus is beautiful. The shape that the heads of the flamingos are making is a really good moment to capture. Overall, it really is a great photo. Keep up the good work Carson!

I love the aesthetic of this photo. I think if you turned up the saturation and vibrance maybe that would make them more pink and a little less dark and beady-eyed. Overall. I love the way you took this picture and the definition/ attention to detail on it. -Lauren B HHS
