Landon H - Book to life

I took this photo in the Barnes and Noble. I did some color correction in Lightroom but I spent most of my time in photoshop creating the sparks and glowing effect coming out from the book. I did the finalization in Lightroom once again. If I could change one thing about this photo it would be the clearness of the photo because you can see some grain in her face.

I really like the warmer effect you did on the book and the overall cool tone to the picture. I also really like how you got the blurry background because it leads your eyes to the subject. I agree that it could be a little clearer but it still looks good. Good job buddy!

I really like how the image turned out at the end! I love the way that you made the light come out of the book and how you made the background all blurry. I really like how the picture looks.

This image has an amazing feel to it! The coloring and dark tones come together to make it feel as though the book it lighting up the entire room. I also like that the blue/green color is consistent throughout the image.

I really love this picture. I love the way you edited it, it almost makes the magical part look real. It also doesn't distract from the actual image too much. I do agree it is a little grainy but other than that this is a perfect picture. I would definitely keep this picture.

This is such a cool image! The colors in the background add a nice pop to the picture making it feel very magical and mystic. The sparks and glow also add to the magical fairytale vibe. I wouldn't change anything about this image, it is perfect as it is.

This is a really good picture! I like how you made it darker around the edges and the made it brighter as you got closer to the book. The sparks and glowing effect is really what caught my eye because that kind of photoshop isn't really seen on here that often I think.

cool pic my man!! I really like the way that you edited this picture with the glowing effect coming from the book. I al like the tone that this image gives off; it's very warm. I agree with you that the grain could be better but it's such a good pic you don't really notice. Keep up the good work! - Heath M - HHS

This is a really cool photo. The haze that is seen through out the whole photo makes look like as we are about to jump into the book with the subject. The glow and how it reaches out to the girl was a really unique idea. The color, especially the mix with the blue and yellow has a crazy effect on the photo! Good job with this one!

This image is amazing! I love how the background is blurred so she is the main focus of the image. The glow coming from the book is really cool. I think you could have warmed the picture up a little bit. Overall this is an incredible image! Nice job!

This is a great photo. I like how the image is pretty dark but the glow of the book seems to light her face and parts of the room. The picture feels nostalgic and reminiscing of childhood and fairy tails. I think the crop is good too, it has everything that makes the picture good and not really any extra space. Nice work! - Alex H HHS
