Jacob T- Wagon Wheel

I took this picture with my Canon Rebel T6 and it was taken at Myers Plants and Pottery. It was taken towards the beginning of the year. I used this picture for an assignment on texture. I edited it by sharpening it and increasing the contrast to try and bring out the weird texture of the glue on the wagon wheel. I think this could be better if the background was more plain and didn’t look as gritty as it does. I tried adding a heavy vignette to reduce the background but It still comes through.

I love the detail in this image! The coloring is also nice. At first, I thought that the rocks around the wheel was water, and that the wheel was spinning the water off of it, so the rocks make a cool illusion. To make the image better, I think I would've taken it from a lower angle so that more of the wheel was in it.

I love the angle of this image. It gives it a unique abstract look. The detail of the wheel itself is also really cool. The colors that are brought out while others are dulled also creates a cool effect. This is a great image!

I really like this picture. I like how sharp it is and the detail. The gravel on the ground kinda looks like water droplets flying off of the wheel. I think the color is really nice. I usually don't like HDR but I really like this one. I do agree that it would look cool with a back background but I still like the background it has now. Good job!!
