Olivia H. - Painted Face

I took this picture in my house for the site image assignment. She is standing in font of a door to brighten her. To edit I darkened the background to make make it black. I made image black and white then used the brush tool to at the paint effect on her face. I sharpened the image and tried to bring out the detail in her face the the brush. I took this picture with my cannon T-6. I really like this picture and I wish It could be less blurry.

I think this is a really cool image. I love how the image is in back and white and the spot behind the paintbrush is in color. I also love how image overall is dark but her face I brighter than the rest. I think this image is really amazing overall. Nice Job!

I really like the composition of this image. The Black and White filter really gives it a serious mood to the photo. Also having the stroke across her face of color gives it such a creative and interesting vibe to it. The only thing I would change is maybe coloring the paintbrush more and maybe cropping in on her face. Other than that it's a great photo! - Landon H HHS

I really like this picture, the overall tone, and feeling that is conveyed. I really like how there is a contrast between the light and dark. I feel that by adding the black and white effect and leaving the stroke in color emphasizes the details. This picture is just amazing and totally a keeper. Good job!

I really love the contrast of this image. The black and white with the paintbrush is an amazing idea for a picture. I like how the subject is nicely contrasted against the black background. I also like the use of the rule of thirds. This is a great picture!

This picture looks incredible! I love the tinting of the face to give the illusion of being painted on with the paintbrush, I think it looks insanely accurate and soft. The image seems to give the feeling of the face being painted, so I think it would have been even more illustrative if the paint brush would have been tinted as if it was covered in that color. Still, overall a picture that looks breath taking!
