Jacob T- Low Key Goat

I called this picture Low Key Goat because it was taken for the low key assignment. This picture was taken at Oak Mountain Petting Zoo. I took the picture with my Cannon Rebel T6. I edited it by taking out the background by copying the background layer and selecting large area and coloring them in with the brush tool. Then I went around the goat and softened the black background so its not such a harsh line. I think it could have been a lot better if it was taken in a closed area with controlled lighting to get rid of the harsh lighting.

I really like the lighting in the photo. I like that the goat is just light enough to distinguish its body from the background. Te detail is also very nice, and the angle and direction of the goat creates a sense of movement which is also very nice.

I really love this picture. The lighting looks great with the dark background and the goat being black but still lit. It really brings out the horns and the ears because they are a lighter color. I also like the angle you took this picture at, it has a lot of detail and gives you a really good view of the goats head.

This is such a good picture! I like the lighting on the goat, especially on the horns. As previously mentioned, the color between the goat and the background is good so that there can be an obvious distinction between the foreground and the background. I see how you soften the outline of the subject, but I see how there are some smudges that could be fixed. Overall, this is a really good picture and it really does serve the purpose of the high key low key assignment.

I love the contrast of this image. I also like the way the goat's head is centered. I think this is a great image!

This is a great picture. I love the definition of the goat's features. I really like how you placed a black background behind the goat. The lighting looks really good, shining down on the goat's head. I like the ombre effect on the back/neck as it blends into the background. This was a great picture to choose for the High Key-Low Key project. Great job!

Great picture!!!!! I like the detail of this picture you can see everything and its so focus. When I first looked at this picture I thought it was taken off google. Ita great I love the darkness of it and since the goat is black it goes well with the background you add. I do agree with the lighting it would be better if it was on the low a little. I would also have sharpened the image as well maybe perhaps add a little more contrast. = because once doing it added a little more to the color and detail but overall good!

I really love the darkness and detail of this image. The hairs of the goat are so realistic seeming that it looks like you could feel its hair with your hand. The sharp horn adds a nice light contrast to the majorly black image. The specific lighting was a great call in adding intensity. Overall great image.
