Danielle M - Black and White

I took this image at the Botanical Gardens with my Nikon D5100. I used a wide variety of editing techniques, but mostly focused on removing color from the image and adding “dirt and scratches” with the Nik Collection. I think it would be better if the rose was centered better.

I really enjoy this picture! The contrast with the rose's and background's focus and depth of field makes the picture come together really well. I like how the rose is centered since,it is eye level to the viewer and is the first thing that you notice.By taking the color out and adding the scratches to the image,makes the picture have a sense of nostalgia.
