Carson R - A New Perception

This image is entitled “A New Perception”. This was taken underwater with my Nikon D3400, in Maui Hawaii over the summer. I edited this in photoshop by increasing the contrast and bringing up the temperature a little bit. I think this could be better if the turtle was more in focus.

This picture is very nice, though I agree it would be better were the turtle in focus. Placing the turtle in the right corner was an interesting choice, and gives a sense of movement. I like the gold of the turtle against the turquoise water. Good job!

I really love this image! The underwater viewpoint is really nice for the angle at which you photographed the turtle. The detailing in the turtle ties it all in together just as if you were actually in the water. I wish the turtle was a little more in focus too but it still seems as if it's swimming along side of you. Overall this is a great image!

Carson, the focus and exposure in this image is great. I really like the contrast between the warmth of the turtle and the coolness of the water. I really like this photo; it's definitely a keeper.

I really like picture. Honestly good job on taking the picture and yea agree maybe if the turtle was more focused on but overall really great image with capturing it
This is a great picture. I love the fact that it is underwater. The sun looks really good hitting the turtle's back. I can't tell if it looks blurry because of the transfer onto the photo blog or if it actually is blurry, if so the picture would have looked better if it was focused.

I really like this image. I i like the tones and how the warm tones from the turtle contrast the cool tones in the water. If i could change anything about this photo i want to make the water clearer. Over all this is a great photo and i love the summer mood - Alex H HHS
This is a great photo! I love the color and how sharp the image is. The coolness of the photo I think gives it a really calm vibe. The only thing I would change about this photo might be the composition. So you could get the top of the turtle that is out of the water and then also the rest of the turtle that is under the water. Other than that it is a really good photo. Underwater photography is super cool! - Landon H HHS
