Braxton S- Grinding

The title of my selected image is “Grinding”. This was taken at night at my friends house at night. I used a lamp to shed light on the hands and grinding wheel. I took the photograph with my Canon 50D. I edited the picture by adjusting the brightness, contrast, exposure, and shadows. I think If I got more in the picture then it could be better.

I really like the color in this picture with the warm light and orange sparks around the hand. I also really like how some of the sparks are in focus and other are blurred like a long exposure shot. Your lighting must have been really good because it was shot at night and I didn't see a lot of noise. Keep it up!

I really like this photo and how it was captured in time. I like the sparks coming out. The lighting is really good on here and it brings the photo together! I like how you worked on the brightness and exposure etc that the same thing I would have done the same. good picture!

I think this picture is really cool and I really like it. I like how you used the lampshade to create the light over the hands and the spark. I like the dark background. The hands are still in good detail and the sparks aren't too blurry. I think this is really cool. I think the amount in the pic is just right.

I really like this picture and I think all the warm colors and tones lend to the rustic yet bright vibe that this picture brings, and I like how it all comes together. - Will C

This picture is really cool. I like the way we used the lamp in this photo. I also like the way that it is dark behind my hands. I love how you framed it too since my hands are in the middle and the sparks. I also like the way the sparks are coming at the camera and some are out of focus it gives the image good depth. I would definitely frame this image.

This is an excellent photo. The composition is great. The framing is also really well. I really enjoy the warmness of this photo it really adds a good mood to it. Also, the fact you can't see past his hands really adds some good depth to it. The way you captured the sparks flying but yet the rest of the photo is crisp is really powerful and makes the photo. You said that if you got more in the picture it'd be better. But I think you got a perfect amount of the grinder, and the arms and hands in the photo. This is just a really good photo.

This is an incredible photo. You captured so much in this photo, its unbelievable! You have sparks fly, focus on the hands, and the perfect simplicity of the turning steel. The light in this photo is perfect as it sheds important light on the subjects in the photo. You did an amazing job on this one!
