Alexa S- This Summer in New York

This photo was taken during this summer in New York. I took in on my Canon SL1. To edit this picture, I added a black and white filter and grain. It could be better if the sunlight didn’t wash out the building as much.

I really like this picture because of the lighting. I like the shadows that the sun makes. The black and white makes the picture look really good too. I agree the sun in the corner washes out the building.

This is a great image. My favorite part is the symmetry of the building that really brings out the detail in the building. I like the glare in the bottom left corner because it makes the building look better. GREAT JOB!! -Omar S. HHS

I really love the angle of this photo, I think it provides a lot of perspective. I also love that you made it black and white and I think the sun glare really adds to the pic. Great job! -Lauren B HHS

I really love this image. The black and white contrast makes this image very vintage and dated in the best way. The sun at the bottom right does add some character to the image and it looks very nice but I agree that the picture might be even better without it. I love the definition in the windows and walls of the building Overall great picture!

This is a great picture! The architecture in New York is unique and the black and white filter that you put on the image is excellent. The sun in overpowering the right side of the subject a little bit but overall, this is a great picture with an excellent black and white filter!
