Dayne M- King Kong Attacks

I took this image of the building in New York and then decided to create a composite. I borrowed the explosions, gorilla, and plane in order to make my own version of King Kong. I took is with my Nikon D5500 and then edited all the pieces together in photoshop. In order to make the images look as natural as I could, I increased and decreased their sizes, masked out portions I didn’t want to use, and then changed the colors to make the black and white of the image pop more. It could be better if I was able to find a better image of a gorilla so that its foot did not look so messed up. Other than that, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Oh this is so great! I like how you went out the box with this. I for one loved all versions of king kong so seeing this is major awesome sauces. I really like the black and white additive, I feel like it might have been to busy if it was all color so smart decision. Honestly I don't know what you mean with the foot looking weird because the gorilla and his [position is my favorite part! Great job!

This is a really cool remake of the King Kong movie! The black and white tone gives me the feeling like I'm watching an old film. The building is beautifully detailed. The explosions could be a bit better but overall this is a really awesome image!

Haha this is awesome! I think I commented on the original too just because this is such a dope photo on its own. The black and white really ties it all together for me, its really nice. Great little edit here.
