Julia M- Can Glory

This image is called “Can Glory”. It was taken just the other day in Mr.Rigsbys photo studio. It is a picture of a Vanilla Coke can. I took it with my Nikon D80 with a black backdrop. I edited it by enhancing the colors just a tad and darkening it so the can almost disappears in the background but it still outlined. I feel this photo could have been better if it was just a little sharper, I tried but I never was able to get it to where I wanted it. I really did however enjoy photographing the can because I got to drink it first and man Vanilla Coke is the bomb digity.

Cool pic! I really like how you made the coke can outline sort of "disappear" with the black background. It had an interesting effect. I also like the angle at which the photo was taken. It is level with the can and you can clearly read out the intended meaning. I agree with you that if it was a bit sharper it would look better, but the idea of a somewhat fuzzy blur to it makes it unique. Overall, I really enjoyed this picture. Keep up the good work! Looks great, the way the can blends in with the backdrop is so well added and makes the subject which is already really well centered stand out! The color change looks really good too, along with the focus of the can even though its a little blurry! The whole picture is great and definitely a keeper.

Cool picture! I like the black backdrop because it helps make the can pop out. The colors are really nice as well because I like the way that the colors change a bit on the lettering. I do agree that it could be a little bit more in focus. Overall, I like this picture and it looks really cool.
