Dayne M- Building Reflection

I decided to name this image “Building Reflection” since I copied a piece of the building to fill in the empty sky some. I took it over the summer in New York City with my Nikon D5500. I edited it by decreasing the saturation and reflecting the piece of the building. It could be better if the reflected part was not angled up and to the side a bit, but other than that I am happy with the way it turned out.

I really like the concept and the colors.

This photo is killing it right now Dayne! This is some of the best kind of "out there" shots that I've ever seen. I like the way that it is separated from the edge and floating into the screen. The like lines left over from the picture you added make it look even more like you just slapped it right onto the side and I like that a whole lot more than if you attempted to like blend in into the background.

This is really cool, but I think it would look better if you either didn't have the reflections or if you just smoothed out the edges of it. But I really like to the colors of the picture

I really like this photo. I think its so cool how you reflected it and colors go really well with this. it could be better if you maybe lined up the reflection with the edge of the layout and if yiu blended it out better. The color of the sky looks good with the color of the buildings. I think if you just worked on it m,ore it would be good. But great job and really good idea and concept!

NIce shot. I like how you edited the image making it gloomy and the light grey in the background really works. I also like how you reflected the edge of the building to the opposite side of the image. What I would change though is make the edges of the reflected image like blend in a little. Because clearly you can see that it is not very well blended with the sky in the back.

I love this editing technique. What you can do with photoshop is awesome! I like the calm, neutral colors in the photo. It is not too busy which is why the edited reflection really works in the photo. Good photo!
